Privacy Policy

Who we are

The Clearview Budget app (listed in the app stores as Clearview Budget System) is published by Clearview SmartSheets LLC, a Georgia limited liability company and a Clearview Tax Group company. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Clearview SmartSheets LLC, and “the app” means Clearview Budget on iPhone, iPad and Android.

Information the app does not collect

The app works fully offline. We do not collect, receive or have access to:

• your name, email address, phone number or other contact details
• the budgets, income, spending, bills, debts, accounts, balances or notes you enter
• your location, contacts, photos or device identifiers
• usage data, crash reports or analytics

We have no servers that receive information from the app, and the app doesn’t send your information anywhere.

Information stored on your device

Everything you enter is saved in the app’s private storage on your own device. It stays there until you delete it or remove the app. Deleting the app deletes this information, unless you saved a backup first.

Backups. If you use backup & restore in Setup, the app creates a backup file and you choose where it goes, such as your device’s files, a cloud drive you use, or an email to yourself. That file is under your control, and the service you save it to handles it under its own privacy policy.

App lock. If you turn on the passcode or Face ID / fingerprint lock, your passcode is stored only on your device. Face ID and fingerprint checks are handled by your device’s operating system, and the app never receives your biometric data.

Reminders. Bill reminders and other alerts are scheduled on your device as local notifications. They aren’t sent through any server.

Purchases

The app is free to download and includes a 7-day free trial of every feature. Clearview Full Access is an optional one-time in-app purchase. Payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We don’t receive your payment card or billing details. Apple or Google only tells the app whether Full Access has been purchased, so it can unlock the features and let you restore your purchase. How Apple and Google handle your information is described in their privacy policies.

Sharing and selling

Because we don’t collect your information, we don’t sell, rent or share it with anyone, including advertisers or data brokers.

Children

The app is a personal budgeting tool intended for adults. It isn’t directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Your choices

• Edit or delete anything you’ve entered at any time inside the app.
• Turn notifications and app lock on or off in the app or in your device settings.
• Remove all of your app data by deleting the app from your device.

Because we never receive your information, we have nothing to access, correct or delete on your behalf. If you have a question about this, contact us and we’ll help.

Security

Your information is protected by your device’s built-in security, such as your device passcode and storage encryption, along with the app’s optional lock. Keep your device and any backup files secure.

Changes to this policy

If we add features that change how information is handled, such as optional sign-in or syncing between devices, we’ll update this policy before those features are released and change the effective date above. Optional features will be explained in the app before you turn them on.
